For this project, a sound designer was needed to add foley and other sound effects and finalize the audio and give it a “VHS” – like treatment with audible glitches and dropouts, just like from a real VHS cassette. Because I do not have a VHS recorder in my studio, unfortunately, I had to improvise and use common sense to apply the right EQ, tube compressors and tape saturation for a replication as close as possible to the original.
